Re: Why dealers get a bad rap.

I am inclined to agree.

After the stonewalling my dealer gave me on the tranny problem in
my newly-purchased '95 A6QW, I finally called AoA.

The Dealer's General Manager/owner told me that he has seen this
"problem" (occasional severe flaring on the 3-4 shift) on every A6
with this tranny he ever sold. The answer is that you are not supposed
to drive in "D" until you are up to speed on the highway.

The Service Manager on the other hand says he doesn't know what I'm
talking about, never seen it, D is fro Drive EVERYWHERE, yadda yadda.

So finally I called AoA, and was supposed to hear from the District
Rep about an appointment. That was 6 weeks ago.....

So here I am, a customer SO unhappy with his dealer that he requested
an arbitration with AoA, and they are still ignoring me.
