Generic 3 wire oxy sensors for V6

Anyone out there using the "generic" Bosch heated 3-wire oxy sensor in a 2.8
V6? Its about time for replacement on my 100, and would like to avoid paying
the $120 for the OEM sensor (times two). Rod at TPC told me in his reply
message to my pricing request that they do not have a generic sensor for the
V6. I understand that I have to re-use the old wiring harness, but this is
no problem. Isn't this generic sensor a one kind fits all type of thing?
Also, what's the best way to fasten the old harness wires to the new sensor
(solder and shrink wrap tubing?)? Who's got the best deal on these sensors?
