Vacuum Pump for power door locks

Again I find myself needing the absolute expertise of the list of all
lists.  I have a 1994 S4 and was wondering if the recent post of a
vacuum pump for sale from an 89 200 TQ would suffice as a replacement or
if I'm out of luck and need to find one from an S4.  Audi dealer locally
will only sell complete pump and alarm system for some bizarre amount of
money, even though alarm module works perfectly.  Any help is greatly
appreciated, and Thank You!
