Having researched, purchased and installed these components, I can say,
"better believe it." S2 _has no_ front bumper to speak of. The CQ's front
crossmember is replaced with a crossmember carrying the turbo cooled air
from the single pass intercooler back to the upper pressure pipe. The
intercooler slings below this pipe, and together they occupy the space which
in the CQ houses the bumper. To retrofit the S2 parts, you have to remove
the entire CQ bumper complete with mounting struts. The front bumper issue
is the chief reason the S2 isn't easily federalized. I don't parallel park
if I can help it.

Quite right. While the 3B engine is identical in the euro S2 and the US '91
200, (it's even called the 3B, unlike the 20vt in the ur which is called the
RR), other key systems are not the same. E.g.: the S2 has a dual exhaust
system with dual cats. Just for factual accuracy, the 6-speed became
available in '93 on (concurrent with intro of the ABY 230hp engine, seen in
the US as the AAN engine of the S4/S6) , the first two years of S2 had the
five speed.
