As far as I understand, the Passat wagon is in A6 Avant's league (only a
negligibly smaller in interior). I've looked at A6 Avant and the Passat
wagon side-by-side. They look similar in size, and only differ in looks
and in price. The sales droid even said the 3rd seat option may show up in
the Passat wagon.
