No, stored it for a few months, was working fine. Now as I described.
I suspect my temp sensor never worked, threw in a resistor and saw my
dash cold temp light (blue) for the first time since I have owned the
car! I assume it comes on during cranking as I threw a 15 Ohm resistor
in the circuit and according to your chart that is off the scale hot.
Kinda surprised at the value range as my manual says the sender is for
timing changes when cold versus when very hot like 120, I've really
never seen above 100 since I've installed the temp guage. Will continue

checking grounds
Thanks alot

Mike, I may be misunderstanding what you are saying, but the temp sensor
to the ECU is not the same one that triggers the blue cold warning
light. IME, the blue light only used to come on for a few seconds during
really cold weather, 20 deg F. The blue light sender is on the back of
the head near the heater core hose. I replace mine with a stock coupe
temp sensor for the coolant temp gauge. The ECU temp sensor is on the
front of the engine, near the thermostat. HTH.
