Dan and Rich Beels wrote about listers and/or audifans.com renting tools
and free and paid subscriber membership. Marvelous ideas.  Although we are
all "friends", I'm sure we need:
   Some type of tool rental contract,
   Tools worth renting (I vote for and am willing to kick-in 
   some dough if audifans.com buys for some good diagnostic stuff).
   A method of arbitration for rental disputes,
   and as Dan mentioned, someone to run membership/rental program.

As far as a subscription rate:
  $0.00 for subscribing to list or digest

  $20. gets US listers a sticker, member nr for discounts and 1 
  year on the rental thing. Non-US listers can get a sticker for 
  cost+postage.

  Yearly renewal fee based on how the program works out.
