I love the concept, and Richard's comments are exactly the same thoughts I
had. It seems like what would be most likely to succeed is for audifans.com
to provide the forum and "infrastructure" for private rentals. Those with
tools for rent could leverage audifans.com "membership" registration to
"authenticate" renters.
Perhaps it could go as far as providing an entity to hold credit card
deposits for tools. That way the guy with the VAG1551 doesn't feel so
uncomfortable about sending it out :-)
