Hmm. I would assume that there are limit switches somewhere in the mechanism
which actually signal the relay. How else would it know that the roof
was in one position or another?

I'd bet that these are a more likely culprit than the relay or the switch.
Especially since the roof operates properly, other than at the limit of
travel.

I haven't actually had the "opportunity" to work on my sunroof mechanism,
so I'm just working theoretically here....
