Hi Richard;

    Sure sounds like a bad wheel bearing, but they usually howl or whine
rather than make a rubbing noise. They can be damaged on installation if not
done properly or if the car is moved before the axle bolt is tightened. Sure
hope that's not your problem. The only other thing I can think of is the
splash plate for the brake discs - maybe one got bent a little when the
wheel bearings were done and is rubbing on the disc.
