Yes, I tried one of those translation software things once to 'help'
with some business correspondence.

A 'member of your staff' came out as the equivalent in German of 'one of
the big thick wooden sticks in your place.'

Since then I stick with the rudimentary German in my head which at least
knows when it doen't know !
