Just recovering in the warm post-bath from doing the back end of the
ur-quattro. The main objective was to finish off the caliper rebuild -
I also did all new disks, pads, seals and boots.

A real weirdo that I'll chase up on Monday - the seals in the caliper
kits were too small and both were chopped up by the pistons. As it
happened, I'd had a damaged boot a couple of years back. At the time,
I bought a kit but only used the boot and not the seal. The seal from
_that_ kit worked perfectly, but the colour coding was completely
different. Both packs had the same part number on them.

I owe my compliments to a company I cannot yet name. Getting the
frame off the hub (two Allen screws) was a bitch. I have never applied
such grossly excessive torque to an Allen key before and had it survive.
I looked at all the keys in the set, and at the blue clip they live in,
but I can't see a manufacturer's name. Why would someone who produces a
tool that good not put their name on it?

There's one in my tool kit. I have tried (several times) to find a
part number - and if I ever do, I'll post it here in jubilation.
