Help!!! Again with the fuel pump.

How did you get the plastic hose of the top of the fuel pump.  Its right where
the electrical terminals are.  The one i recieved from you dosen't have it, so
i will try to take it off the old one that already on the car.  But i can't
turn the whole thing because the metal piece that the plastic hose connects to
keeps hitting the power terminals.  Or shoule i just use a rubber hose and
connect it to the top of the pump you gave me.
