Re: 5ktqw Low End Power

The K24 was used at 1.8 bar in the 20V engines, that is what it is
designed
for.

Exactly my point. It should Handle 1.8 Bar just fine in a 10v too.
ANd much more driveable, More usable power.

I believe you are discussing turbo trades in the10V series of engines
and
the RS2
exhaust manifold is a 20V only fitment. Will not work on the 10V
engines.

NOt exactly. The 10v has the 2 piece manifold available which is
supposed to flow much better. That is the Manifold I am referring to.
I did say RS2 manifold though. Sorry, I meant 2 piece. And maybe an
RS2 turbo. Oops

Carl's old car had an RS2 turbo installed.

Yes, my point is, he was running extremely high boost in that car
and the high altitude didn't blow his turbo up like some suggest. I'm
just saying if he did it with 350 hp then a 1.8 bar MC with a k24 should
be fine. Yours hasn't blown up on you and you have a 200 with k24 and
1.8 bar. I think this is the ticket for high altitude apps without
spending TOO much money. Dont you think so?

Let me know how it works. With all this done to it though, It
sounds like you need an RS-2 and like 2.2 bar with a killer IC.

It seems to help in the MC too. Audi thought so at least. Not the
Ticket for MAX performance but for Better Performance and MOre torque
down low, definately the ticket I think. L8R
