I have seen 225/50-15's on a 4kq
I have seen 225/50-15's on a 4kq. A lowered (way low) one, at that!
Chris Anderson (of Anderson Motorsport/The Quattro Garage) uses
225/50-15 BFG R1's on his turbo 4kq, mounted on Speedline 15x7's (not
sure if he has the ET37 or ET45 ones, though). He has NOT done
substantial body mods.
That being said, I DO NOT RECOMEND YOU DO THIS ON A STREET CAR!!!
No matter how cheep the tires are. 225 is WAY to wide for a 4k. Among
other potential problems, the car will hydroplane like you wouldn't
believe.
