wheel clearance

I have 15x6.5  wheels on my car with 205/50s and have no problems.  The
Lowering is NOT the problem.  IF it rubs when lowered, well, it will rub
when under compression over bumps too even with normal springs.  You can
fit a 15x7 wheel with those tires or even a 215 if you have the right
offset.  I have BTDT or well, at least seen others with that.  Even saw a
4kq with 16" A4 sport package wheels and 215/40-16 tires that fit.  I
would check the offset.  Find out what the A4 wheels use as a baseline.  
	Also, My wheels are 35mm offset.  For a 7" wide wheel I think you
will need more, IE 38-40 mm.  L8R
