A minor clarification...the 10v turbo *is* an interference
engine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The 2.2l NA *may* not "hit", and rumor has it the 2.3l
NA may also be interference.
In other words, it is best to err on the side of caution with *any* I5 Audi
engine unless you are absolutly certain that your engine will survive a timing
belt failure. (Even then of course it will be a "tow-in" car.) I sure wouldn't
advise longer change intervals than 60k in any event.
