Wiper Blades

I recently went to replace my wiper blades and found that the Autobahn
(Bosch) ones I bought at the Audi dealer don't appear to take refills.  I've
only had the car a year and, at the time, couldn't find any at an auto parts
store that would fit.

A trip to Schuck's Auto found two complete, non-refillable set-ups by
Bosch - one standard and one premium with two kinds of materials, etc., etc.

a.) Are the premiums any better.  I paid $11 ea. and they seem to work quite
well.
b.) The size seems to be the same for my wife's '94 Jetta, but her stock
drivers'  side Bosch has a little wing on the blade arm itself.  Does this
matter?  Can I just use the non-wing premium Bosch?
c.) Does anyone make re-fillable wipers for an '88 5ksq &/or '94 Jetta?
