The law is the law son, and you were breaking it. With your attitude, I'd
expect you to be searched and cuffed and hauled in.

Some of us take our speeding a bit more seriously. We do our best to avoid
getting caught, but when we do, we don't run away. I've been nabbed for
speeding a couple of times, and in each case I treated the officer with
respect and dignity. He's doing his job. In a couple of cases, I got let
off with a warning. In others, I felt I got screwed (even though I *was*
speeding.) I paid my fine and moved on.

You can't run away. If you try, you'll lose. Sooner or later they'll catch
you, and rest assured that when (not if) they do, you *will* be searched
and cuffed and hauled in.

Cops assume (and perhaps rightly so) that if you run, you have something to
hide. When they catch you, they will stick their guns in your face and
scare the shit out of you. Or maybe you'll reach for your wallet, and some
excited cop will think you're reaching for a gun...

If you speed, be ready for the consequences. You *can't* run away.
