RE: Porsche pulls out of Le Mans

yes, porker won le mans when the toyota blew it's gearbox with a hour or so
to go. the m-b boys didn't last 4 hours...

however, m-b has won *every* fia gt race this year, and it's been 2 years
since porsche has won an fia gt race.

bearing in mind that this years gt racer was basically a clean sheet design
(albeit based on last years less than successful racer), and it's clearly
time to get back to the design office.

at least le mans has prevented this 50th anniversary for porsche from being
a disaster.

Say what?!? Porsche just won LeMans (again) Porsche-Audi-VW -- maybe
Porsche is
letting cousin Audi have some lime light. I figure if Porsche
doesn't show up next
year, that's one less competitor for Audi to worry about.
