Had 102,000 miles on my S4 until it got hit. never had a mechanical problem.
Had the same exact problem with my driver door, oddly it went away by itself,
which leads me to believe something must've been lodged in the hinges. Driver
side seats always get worn on S4/S6's. Swirl marks do show, the previous owner
probably drove it through carwashes instead of washing by hand, Use 3M hand
glaze, apply with cotton balls after washing the car really good. might want
to clay it first to remove all dirt from the paint. as far as tune-ups, do the
timing belt, its kinda expensive in terms of labor, i think my 60,000 mile
tune-up which involved quite a few  other things was $650.  the only other
things that may go wrong are rear calipers, emergency brake cables  and  the
power steering pump(Blaufergnugen sells it for $475 instead of the dealer
price of $850). otherwise they are trouble free. Clutch will last you over
100,000 miles, but when its time to change it, it is an expensive job.
