Thanks to several of you that wrote privately with suggestions on my 4kq 
firewall problem (the clutch peddle is trying to get into the engine 
compartment).  Several mentioned that this thread has been through the 
list a few times before.  I have searched the archives using "cracks 
firewall", "firewall clutch", "firewall", "crack", "engineering 
blunder", etc, but to no avail.  I have not found any other messages on 
the subject.

I would truly like to hear from someone else that has expeerienced this 
problem and lived to drive again.  If that is you, please write.
