RE: Valentine One upgrade?

I think this is what I experienced on a recent trip. I have a V1 and as I
passed a state trooper the V1 was going nuts (of course). As I passed, the
directional indicator changed front to rear then the alert faded out. About
thirty seconds later the V1 picked up a K band signal from the rear. I
watched my rear-view mirror and saw that same trooper approaching from
behind. When he was about 30 yards behind me, the V1 picked up a 2nd hit in
the Ka band.

My guess is that he was using the K band to judge his own speed and then use
the Ka (instant-on) to measure my speed and that his radar device does the
calculations for him.

Even if I don't speed I think the V1 is about the most awesome detector out
there currently just because of the information it presents.

Just my .02
