remotes ... I'd be surprised to see an IR-based remote working at 30 feet

... I definitely agree with you on the joke of an alarm horn that is on the
V8Q ... at least it doesn't go off in the driveway with every heavy rain
like the neighbor's POS Honda with the 8" exhaust tip ... :-(
