How big a bulb?  You shouldn't go bigger than an instrument
panel idiot light bulb...  That circuit is current limited
in the MAC11, but with any other ECU, you stand a risk
of frying something.

A really quick flash is what I saw with a MAC11 and a too big
bulb...  The first flash was really quick and the rest sort
of OK.
