Aaron and Qlist ,
Definitely counter offer ! Sounds like that you went out of your way to save
THEM money by using another vehicle, rather than a rental. I have been in
the same situation with my first Audi that was an 85 4k S, no Q. So, always
wanting a Q, I took the insurance companies $$$ and spent a long month
looking for a Q. Finally found one, purchased it from the original owner.
I'm happier this way, I think. I do know almost all of the history on my
current Q, and it would have been too expensive for me, to fix my old car.
HTH !
Drew.
PS - A funny irony here. About 6 months ago, I found my first Audi in a
wrecking yard. I about fell over in Awe. Yup, and I knew the car, so I
pulled some parts that I needed.
