Re: 4kq Owners Beware - (firewall saga, cont.)

I recently had my clutch done and am unhappy with clutch pedal feel. There is
an odd resistance that makes pedal application feel unsmooth. Anyone know
where this is from? My mechanic says it is the cable, he feels it in the
sheath while I depress pedal. I have some doubts.

Thanks,

Jeff

On the 4k it comes from the pedal assy. You may someday have a pedal-assy
problem on the 4k (doubtful), but the firewall won't crack. There's just a
rubber boot around the cable; it can't transmit any force. >>
