RE: p700z's, an owners opinion..
certainly there is nothing wrong with p700's, i loved them on both ur-q's
i've owned. however i replaced the p700z's on my ur-q with bridgestone
s02's. much as this may seem anathema to some, i personally think that this
is a better tyre for the car. slightly softerin feel, but better in the wet
and in the dry. seems better under brakes as well. they do make more noise
though when driven hard :-)
a worthwhile upgrade, especially as the tyres were significantly less
expensive than the p700's.

Since when where the P700's an "all-season" tire? Perhaps you are
thinking
of a different Perelli tire.
Having only driven on them once, I would say they are at the least a
decent
summer tire, and at the prices the Tire Rack etc. have been dumping
them at
for since the P7000's came out, they are a very good deal.
I'm not quite sure why Phil wants them so bad, I would think that
several
more modern tires would be better, such as the Toyo T1+ (a personal
favorite)
or even Perellis own P7000. What's up Phil?
