If you are having the same problem I had with my 5k, the lever cracking
inside the handle the company Mountain Automotive sells a kit to replace
the lever.  It consists of a tool to press out the pin that holds the
lever in the handle and a new lever.  Cost I think was around $30.  You
can contact them at 719-495-0757.  It is easier than searching through a
junkyard.   Good luck
