US-spec bumpers

Hello List,

About an hour ago I was rear-ended by a guy in Corolla. LOT of snow today
in Warsaw, I was waiting at red light, he was going too fast. Results:

Corolla: deformed bumper cover, broken headlight
5KT: Nothing. Zero damage.

The guy got out of his car and started apologizing to me. I looked at my
Audi and said "Don't worry, it's American version, I don't think you had a
chance to cause any damage".

So, folks, you may call the DOT-approved bumpers ugly and praise "sleek
lines" of European cars, but as long as those fat bumpers protect my
wallet, I say: make them even bigger.
