Yes, I believe there are more than one type of Ka.  that is simply a
nomenclature for a certain range of frequencies.  The first thing to use
that frequency was Photo Radar, Radar detector companies countered with
Photo Radar protection in Ka Band.  Then like a year or two later the
Stalker and its twin (dont know name) hit the roads.  These operated in Ka
band but at a different point than the Photo Radar does.  Thus:  An older
Photo Radar detector wont pick up stalker.  BUT-if it says it has Wide
Band Ka coverage, it should pick up the entire Ka band including Photo and
Stalker.    Can anyone confirm this, I am *Almost* positive but not quite.
