Time for a new Mechanic. This is a 4kq, right. The firewall
problem only seems to be with the 4kq with the Hydraulic Clutch. Well, if
you have a 4kq, time for a new Mechanic. The 4kq has a (Hydraulic)
clutch. As in there is no cable. If he replaced the clutch for you he
should know this as he would have had to un-do the line when he pulled
tranny, or take out the Hydraulic actuated Slave Cylinder. Anyhow, if it
is sticking it "could" be that the plastic sleeve that the Throwout
Bearing is sliding on is sticking and he didn't replace with a metal unit.
A $10 part. OR, could be that it wasn't Bled Properly. Are you sure you
have a 4kq??? IF a 4ks then could be cable maybe. L8R
