RE: Somebody out there!!
Justin,
I just replaced my clutch and there are three points where wires
connect to tranny. I am not sure which is which but you may want to try
them. Each point has 2 spade connectors. I dont think it matters which
wire is which, just plus or minus, close circuit and turn on light.
ANyhow,
1) At front of tranny on Passenger side basically to the side of
shift linkage, right next to the Vacuum Actuator for Diff Locks. Think
this is signal for front diff lock.
2) Bottom of tranny at back by rear diff. This is either Reverse
or Rear Diff Lock
3) Top of tranny or rather top side on passenger side back by diff
(right above other connector) This is whatever #2 is not. DIff or
Reverse. You could try unplugging and re-pluging. BTW, #3 is a B*#ch to
get to. Very difficult, try some REALLY long Needle Nose maybe.
Or you could try behind the dash but I doubt that is the problem
as it is a single 6-point connector and if a diff light flickered then I
would think the entire panel would. Hope that helps you some, sorry I
cant be of more help
