RE: 5KCSQ Stalling

FWIW...

I had similar symptoms in my 5KTQW.  Checked vacuum leaks, new ignition
wires, plugs etc.

Finally I noticed alot (1/8" almost) side-to-side play in the
distributor shaft.  I replaced the distributor, just because I was
worried about it wearing to the point of killing the hall sensor.

Ever since I replace that distributor, an unexpected "gift", is that the
random engine dying has gone too...  Perhaps the play was closer to
taking out the hall sensor than I thought... or at least enough to
randomly keep the ignition from firing...

It's an easy check.
