Jeff- You should be able to do a simple electrical test of the ISV with a 9
volt battery(like those used in portable electronic equipment). I will send
this response back to the list because I am not certain. One of the problems
with growing old is you get senile. Also, its been awhile, and I do not recall
the original symptoms. You should resubmit, perhaps I gave you a bum steer.
OTOH, it couldn't hurt to clean the ISV
