'89 200q seen FS in Palo Alto, CA

There's a 200q that I often see parked in Palo Alto, CA, and now it's
got a for sale sticker on it, which reads something like:

'89 200 Quattro, new tires [BFG Comp T/A's, I found] 154k $6900
(650)324-9523

The car is pearl white with a gray interior and looks very good, but
then I'm partial to pearl type $$'s--I mean type 44's. (Funny how the
shift key changes the name of this model...) It has the standard pearl
lattice wheels. I don't know if it's an early or late '89; do the
steering wheels look very different for the airbag/non-airbag models?
And did the K24-equipped MC's begin at the same time as the airbag?

Anyway, worth a call for someone looking for this model.
