Michael, Dont forget that a Turbo 4kq has the battery in the rear
as well. And a 4kq weight about 200 lbs less than a UR-Q stock (That is
both with AC) Take AC out of Both and there is still a 200lb
difference. BTW-if you take out compressor and HEat Exchanger unit you
are only taking out 2/3 of the weight. Dont forget the part above the
feet. :-) And the Weight Dist is actually better on a 4kq turbo as
Battery is in the Trunk not under seat, BUT, CG is better on UR-Q with
Battery mounted Lower and it has less inertia out back so should be more
predictable as weight is right above axle (what is this called,
anyone? It is similar to CG center of Gravity but not quite as it is a
Horizontal Balance? Anyhow, I think Adding a turbo adds about 60lbs or
so but 4kq will still be about 100 - 150 lbs lighter.
Not making a big deal out of it, Sorry I am picking on you, just
putting info on the table for all to hear.
I cant wait to hear your impressions once you get the coil-overs
on. It will be a rare opportunity for the list to have such a
comparison although not entirely fair as UR-Q has 15" tires on it that
are wider to Boot. Same make/model though, right???
L8R and Happy driving your MC UR-Q. I cant wait for a ride. Will you
be at Historics? I hope to have my 4kqt done by then. We can switch
cars for a spin maybe :-) L8R
