S4 Bose Stereo Question

I don't know if it is relevant, but the new [99] ones use the same head unit
for both bose and regular, and there was a note in the book.....somewhere...
that said it had low power outputs. My sony in dash cd[in my old car]had low
power outputs as do many now. I would use an external amp over an internal
one, they are usually much better quality. It is so hard to tell what the
real output of car stereos is, nobody lists rms power, just peak, and
usually only peak during a full moon/soar eclipse, at 18 volts supply power
at 1khz, at 35% distortion..........
