... well, I haven't tried a lot of different models, but I've never had a
problem with the stereo being too deep to fit ... more often it would have
been nicer if the head unit were a little deeper. As I recall I have only
installed Sony units in the QTC ... I think the first was a pull-out
cassette unit that is now in the 4kSQ, and the last one was a removable face
single CD player.
My recommendation is that you measure the depth of the current deck and use
that as a guide. Even if the new unit is a tad deeper the worst thing that
you'd have to do is to relocate the bar that goes across the back. You
can't remove it completely without relocating the cruise control module.
