squeaky steering wheel, final word??

Hi guys,

I pulled this out of the qlist archives from last year.  It had both of
your addresses.  I wanted to know what the final word was on this topic.  I
wasn't able to find the result.  1) what was causing the problem, and 2)
what was the fix?
