Opened the dash tonight.  Checked the headlight switch.  Checked the
ignition switch.  Checked the fuse box, front and back.  Checked all the
leads to the lamps themselves.

FOUND NOTHING WRONG!!

Put everything back together, and, you guessed it, the lights are working
again??

I can only think that there was a loose connection somewhere along the way
which I inadvertently corrected.

Gotta love these Audis!!
