I think some of the fitment problems could be related to tire size. I
think Tony is running 205/55 16's as I am. My wheels are on a '91 200
tq, but I'll try them on a 5kq this weekend. If you run 225/50 16's I
think it would rub on a 5kq. I poked my finger between the tire and rear
well on Howard Dinits' 5kq recently which I think had A8 wheels (or were
they A4?) and there was barely room for my digit. His car is lowered.
Maybe A4 and A8 wheels have different offsets?
