Re: A couple questions(now ARI-Z radio function)
1) The stock radio - has a button on it "AIR-Z" what does it do? I
don't have the manual for the radio
Chris and Dave are incorrect. ARI-Z is an anti-theft device
developed by Bose. It is a competing product to LOJACK.
It has a much shorter range, but has the advantage that no special
equipment is needed for a police cruiser. The police simply lean out
the window and listen for beeping and or the thief's screams of
frustration to turn off the ARI-Z function. According to reports,
some police departments have trained "special ARI dogs",
affectionately known as SARIDs.
