2 piece EM and V8 seats

Hi folks,
On the question of 2 piece (or 6 piece...  Don't ask me, ask Phil   :-)    )
EM's being on production vehicles, controversy exists.  Some say never
happened, others say 1991 200t NON-Q's.  Mike is actually getting one of
these rare little beasts in his shop next week.  BTW, the EM on a late model
car is a bitch to look at.  I'll have to crawl under it (I'm lying.  Mike
has a lift), or maybe use a mirror from the top.  More data to follow.

On the V8 seats in a 5000, Passenger front and rear seats bolt in straight
away, no fuss.  The drivers seat has some problems.  Heater and power
connectors are different, and V8 armrest will interfere with the 5000 center
console unless the seat is used in the highest position.  I was thinking of
modifying the rear consol portion and removing the lighter, placing the rear
vents on the tunnel.  Or removing the armrest(don't want to tho', the
armrest is nice)  The connectors for heat and power are apparently VERY easy
to modify, as I have the connectors from my 5000.  More data to follow when
I actually do all of this stuff...
