Two names for the same beast.  Wakes up cold delivering ca. 15psi,
and raises to 50psi when warm.  Failed ones (like the one I have in
my hand from the Passat outside) sometimes deliver zero at all times.

No pressure on top of the plunger - less resistance to plate movement -
rich mixture.
