RE: CIS mixture adjustment keeps getting lost. Why?

Thanks for the many replies. It now appears it is an intermitant problem.
Gee, those are my favorite! 3+ hours road time today, mostly highway, gas
gauge *just* at first notch above half. All is well. 
Any thoughts on an intermittant source of psycho-richness? Last night it
was running fine with the carbon canister hose disconnected at the air
duct. Now THAT'S rich! 
A quick stop at the mechanics suggests a temp sender for the frequency
valve. (Oral diagnosis only, didn't have time to look)

Since the mixture is ok for now/today, the climate control went nuts. Full
heat, all the time. Curiously, not a lot of air from the highest fan speed.
Sometimes.

Somebody stop me before I buy a Toyota!
