90 vs 91 V8 Q

Hi all,
   Thanks for the 0-60 data on the V8. However, note that the times quoted
were for the 91 V8 automatic which had a higher  first gear ratio. This
would make it a little slower. In fact, I experienced this when I bought
my car. I tested a teal 91 at the dealer and then my 90 at the wholesaler.
Each time the 91 felt a little slower. Now granted it's at most .5
seconds, but I sure would like to know if I was right. The teal one was
beautiful and I've put far more into my car than the $4000 initial
difference between the price of the two cars. 
    Of course, the 4000 or urq with a V8 sounds much better :).
