Sounds fun as all HELL! ;-)
1) First off, epoxy is more reliable than duct tape. So be glad for that
one.
2) Secondly, the switch from the 10v head to the 20v head is considered
possible, but some of the technicians on the qlist say the 20v complete
motor swap is possibly LESS costly. (I.e. it is NOT considered a direct
bolt on, some issues with gasketing, coolant circulation, etc.) Most likely
issue is familiarity. Go with what is known to work first...
3) Discussion of Haltech Injection / CIS/ EFI, etc is WAY over my
head...you'll have to refer to the experts.
With that said...your message has been forwarded to the mother list.
Perhaps someone here can add some suggestions outside of squirting some more
epoxy there...
P.S. Thanks for the wind notice. Tweaked the knee up playing hockey
yesterday...don't even want to think about windsurfing right now. Bummer.
