re: snow tire recommendation?
I run the Hakka 10s on the 87 5KTQW. They are an AWESOME tahr! No doubt
about it! They are even better Vs the Hakka 1s that I ran on the 4000Q. The
advanced studding is also AWESOME!!
Hakka 10s w/studs - no better sno tahrs available (on this planet) at any
price,

Subject: re: snow tire recommendation?
Anyone try the new tire put out by Nokian? I've only heard rumors that it
is
available; any comparison with the Hakka 1's?. I'm also considering the
Pirelli Winter 210 Assimetrico's; Car and Driver gave them a pretty good
review on their longterm 540i, estimating life at 35,000 miles. Very good
grip in non-snow conditions (.84 skidpad versus .85 for Pirelli P600s ),
which
is what most of my winter driving is likely to be here in southern New
Hampshire. Any advice appreciated.
