Fuba Electric Antenna Probs. on 86 4kq

Hello,
I am having problems with my Fuba Antenna.  A day ago when I turned off my
car and turned off the stereo the antenna began to go down as it is
supposed to.  But I did notice a sound coming from the trunk.  It was what
I thought it was, the motor on the antenna was continuing to wind and not
shut off after the antenna mast had finished going down.  When I turn the
stereo back on the antenna mast goes back up and shuts off as it is
supposed to do.  I have disconnected and pulled the unit out of my car to
look at it and so it would not drain my battery.  I am familier with this
antenna since I have replaced the mast we I first bought the car.  There is
not relay on the unit at all, so that cannot fix it.  I have called Audi
parts places and checked my Bentley Manual, and I cannot find any resources
as to what the problem it.  The Upper Mast Housing, I think is what
controls the motor and I would like to replace that.  (you can see it on
page 91.29 of the Bentley) So if anyone has any advice on how to fix this,
or has experience with this, than I would  greatly appreciate the advice.
Also if anyone has spare parts for one of these or has one they are not
using because they have replaced it I would love to acquire it from you.
